Caribbean Resort Villas

You might want to consider staying in the Caribbean resort villas if you are planning a trip and luxury is your true destination. Not that there aren't some fine hotels in the region, but for people who seek comfort as well as privacy there is really only one choice and that is a fancy villa.

Why exactly is a villa? Well, originally villas were big, luxurious and even ostentatious country homes in Rome. Nowadays the term is used generally to refer to any luxurious vacation home, and that is exactly what you will find in the area. Depending on the size of the island, most rental companies will offer a large selection of Caribbean resort villas as well as condominiums. Oftentimes you can rent these residences for as long as you like at daily rates.

One of the best things about renting a villa is that it gives you all of the privacy you need without sacrificing convenience or comfort. That is because the staff of the rental agency is on duty and on call 24 hours a day to take care of all of your needs. So, if you need room service or a cleaning crew, they are at your disposition. You receive all the amenities and services of a four star hotel without the constant hassle of other guests, crowded elevators or frantic lobbies. The rental agency can also provide you with information that will help you plan your entire trip. Not only will they take care of your accommodations, but they can also help you rent a jeep or a boat; they can even help you purchase airline tickets and fill you in on all of the special island activities. The point is that these agencies don't just rent Caribbean resort villas, they know the islands and they can help you plan a more enjoyable and exciting vacation.

Before you book a stay with any rental agency, it is important to know exactly what kind of comforts they provide. Most of time, the agency will give you a choice of accommodations. These Caribbean resort villas range from a standard 1 bedroom villa (that is often more like a condo) to a luxurious stand alone 2 to 3 bedroom villa with a full kitchen and a Jacuzzi. Many agencies will also offer you free complimentary services like high speed Internet, free local or even long distance calls to the United States or Canada. Your residence may also include a microwave, a dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer. But it is always a good idea to ask them directly what amenities and complimentary services they provide.

Probably the most important thing to consider when looking for Caribbean resort villas, if you are going to pay the extra dollars for your own private villa, is location. Where exactly is the property situated? Does it have a good view of the ocean? Is there a terrace? How about privacy? Depending on what exactly it is you want from your stay, it is always a good idea to ask these kinds of questions. After all, this is your vacation and it is up to you to get exactly what you want.

It's la rentrée in France, the big return to the office after the long summer break. Depressed, as the grey Autumn weather falls, the last thing we want to do is think about work. So what could be better than plan for your next vacation - Christmas! So here to help out my friends (many of you keep asking) are some tantalizing, exotic beach destinations in Malaysia for you to dream. Just check Monsoon season as West Coast Malaysia is best November - February whilst East Coast Malaysia is best April - September.

Perhentian Islands

North East Terengganu of East Coast Malaysia is sublime. Pristine white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue waters that would make Leo (di Caprio) rethink twice of filming The Beach in Thailand. Seriously unrivalled diving in the region, the two islands are dotted with rustic beach huts and has become the number one destination for beach lovers and backpackers around the world. The location is so amazing you'll forgive for the lack of luxury hotels. Just suck it up and dive into paradise.

Redang Island

Another diving hot spot in Terengganu, that's not far from Perhentian. One of the largest and most beautiful of the east coast islands, Redang is also the most developed. Redang Archipelago is made of 9 islands that together constitute a protected marine park. With crystal clear waters and some of Malaysia's best coral reefs, the island offers excellent diving and snorkelling.

Langkawi Island

Made up of 99 islands, Langkawi (duty free island) has now been given geopark status by UNESCO. Langkawi is the easiest to access of all the islands (40 mins direct flights from KL) with gorgeous sandy beaches. Boasting some of the most luxurious hotels, such as Four Seasons, The Datai, Westin, The Andaman, Casa del Mar etc you'll be spoilt for choice!

Pangkor Laut Island

It's not the main Pangkor island I'd recommend but Pangkor Laut Resort - a top notch 5star luxury hotel alone on an island. Voted as best romantic hotel, best spa, best hotel in Malaysia - Pangkor Island Resort is the ideal romantic getaway. Book for the Spa Village Villa, on stilts in the middle of the ocean and you'll forget easily the real world. Heaven.

Tioman Islands

The largest of Malaysia's east coast islands, Tioman is famed for its soft, sandy beaches, warm waters and coral reef. Most of the resorts are strung out on isolated bays along the western coast. Diving and snorkelling is excellent but also jungle hiking and sunbathing. Best luxury hotel is Japamala resort - to simply die for!

Rawa Island

Not far from Tioman, the privately owned island of Rawa is surrounded by sugary sands and transparent waters. There's only one place to stay on the island but worth if you're looking for the charming rustic feel.

Sipadan Island

Leaving the best til last, rated among the wold's top 5 dive sites, Sipadan is fringed with white, sandy beaches. Surrounding the island is stunning coral reef teeming with over 3000 species of marine life and sightings of sharks, barracudas, turtles and manta rays are also common. Indian Luxury Retail Booming in the Midst of a Global Economic Slowdown

As they say, there are good and there are bad times; and well, these are bad times, as the government goes bonkers with its austerity drive, to show its solidarity to the farmer suicides, and the "aam admi" brigade jumping into the bandwagon without much ado, in the midst of a global economic recession. Yet, they say, the luxury retail sector in India is at an all time high; hey you got to be kidding! But, the fact and figures loudly say, the Indian luxury retail is booming, and that for once is a crystal clear truth.

The Indian luxury retail market is the beacon of the future, with a number of international brands making their foray, eyeing it as the top destination for high-end goods. One definitely needs to wake up, re-think and go for a reality check to believe this, as it sounds too good to be true. Well, with the sky high salary the executives pull in, the typical Indian consumer behavior has undergone a complete turnaround. India is home to some of the richest men in the world, with the fastest growing high net worth individuals in the Asia-Pacific region living here. In fact, it is seen as the next hub of luxury goods consumption. No doubts about it.

Market observers are of the opinion that luxury retail in India is being pushed to the back-burner, with other retail categories taking centre stage. Many people still believes the usual stereotype and misguided perception that only FMGC sells in India. Well, that surely is not the case if you have a slightest glance of the financial figures of the few luxury brands that have opened shop in India. Lladro dealing in exclusive porcelain figurines have 75 % growth in the last fiscal, while Swarovski and art d'inox dealing in crystals and home lifestyle clocked more than 25% each. And all of them are on an expansion spree, without making much hula boo, in the opulent confines of glittering five star hotels. Indian retail companies are not far behind, they are slowly catching up.

So, recession or no recession, there is no arguing the fact that, there are Indian consumers with very fat pockets; and not every Tom, Dick and Harry is going gung-ho or haywire with the global economic slowdown. All that a luxury retailer need is zeroing down on a niche segment, where there will be takers, no matter what.

What To Expect When Traveling To Lerwick

Lerwick is the capital and main port in the Shetland Islands. This town is part of a six thousand year old community that dates to prehistoric times. The landscape formed from water and ice provide the visitor with a stunning view of both the sea it sits on and the backdrop of lush green countryside.

Many visitors coming to Lerwick find that access to tour boats which provide unlimited fishing and touring opportunities are a wonder change from their normal schedule. A holiday can be spent aboard a boat docked in the Lerwick harbor or in one of the historic inns that give one a sense of timelessness.

For travelers wish to stay in modern hotels there are a few available that offer all of the extras that one would find in any luxury hotel. Many of the rooms have decks which open onto a beautiful view of the sea and have dining sets in place so that a person can enjoy a sunrise or sunset from their balcony.

The Shetlands Museum in Lerwick is relatively new and has a modern layout which offers exhibits that address the history of Lerwick and artifacts collected throughout the Shetlands. Residents offer live demonstrations of many of the crafts that are popular throughout Lerwick.

Exploring the many historic sites around Lerwick can be accomplished by hiking trails that lie throughout the countryside. In addition there are several walking tours available which introduce newcomers to the area to the many wonders that surround Lerwick.

Since Lewick lies at the northernmost tip of the UK, the town has been influenced by other cultures that include Norse. The structures and layout of the town therefore do not mimic many of those found in other towns throughout the UK. So exploring the town and participating in the many activities that are held on a regular basis makes it a wonderful experience.

Secured Loans, Homeowner Loans And Remortgages Can Help You Enjoy The Good Things in Life.

Remortgages, homeowner loans, otherwise known as secured loans are all types of home loans which release equity in your property which a homeowner can use for almost any purpose. Over the course of the last two and a half years property prices have fallen, but this is not the norm, and therefore if you have lived at your current address for a number of years you are bound to have considerable equity in your property. All through history in the medium to long term investing in property is the best cast iron way of any form of investment. Buying classic cars is a form of investment but it is not as reliable as propery and several well known people have had their fingers very badly burned when prices of their classic car collection of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Daimlers, Mercedes Benz, etc. fell.

Even collecting old masters can have their ups and downs as regards investment value, and works of art by well known artists can rise and wane in popularity whether we are thinking of Picasso, Dali, Van Gogh, Modigliani, Matisse,Renoir, Constable and so on.

As such you should, after a few years in your house, have the certain guarantee that your house will now be worth a lot more now than what you paid for it ten or twenty years ago. Therefore releasing equity ,which is the difference between your mortgage balance and the value of the property, by taking out a secured loan A.K.A. homeowner loan or a remortgage to raise funds for a great variety of purposes can be a wise move.

However secured loans or remortgages can be used for even more frivolous purposes such as going on a trip of your dreams and enjoying something that gives you particular pleasure such as a sport , hobby or for example love of opera and classical music.

If the latter is the aspect of life that gives you particular pleasure, there is no where in the world better to savour opera and classical music than Italy. Italy is home to two of the most famour opera houses in the world, namely La Scala in the Northern Italian city of Milan, and Teatro San Carlo in Naples.

In Teatro San Carlo you can experience the finest conductors and opera singers the world has to offer, and remember that courtesy of your secured homeowner loan or your remortgage you can have a five star trip. In Naples you could stay in one of the best hotels in this most lively of cities, and that is The Excelsior situarted on the front very near Santa Lucia which was the inspiration for the famous Neapolitan song of the same name.

Another city in Italy which is ideal for opera lovers is the city of Verona. Thanks to your homeowner loan. secured loan or , href="http://www.championfinance/remortgages.htm">remortgage you could take a luxury two centre tip. Verona has a very ancient open air arena which plays host to a number of excellent operatic events throughout the year, and there is an opera fetival held there in the month of October whih makes this an excellent time for opera buffs to visit Verona which was also the setting for Romeo and Juliet whose balcony you can visit.

Five Star Alliance Client Reviews - Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris
John Payne, Bath, Somerset, United Kingdom. January, 2007
"The room was as described so it met my expectations. The hotels location was where I it should have been, so again it met my expectations. The service was dissapointing for such a famous 5 star hotel, the trip was a suprise for my girlfriends birthday the receptionist having disscovered this in conversation with myself asked if it would be acceptable that some compimentry flowers and a cake were put in our room, I thought this was a nice touch however, no cake no flowers arrived. We dined in the restaurant on the 2nd night, I had to ask three different staff before we got any pre dinner drinks. The food was good and the service friendly. I booked a show and dinner through the hotel for the 3rd night, the day of the birthday. We turned up to find we had to stand in line for over an hour during which time it rained heavily -I wouldn't have minded so much if the hotel had made it clear we would have to wait for so long, but that wasn't mentioned -it did take the edge off the evening and isn't something I would have expected."
Linda O., Dallas, TX. December, 2006
"The location is great. Hotel George V is in the 8th arrondisement, which is my favorite. The service is exceptional. I arrived in a taxi and the doorman welcomed me by my name. I don't know how he knew it was me, but I was immediately impressed. Check in was a breeze. My room was not as large as I had expected, but I have no complaints. It was beautiful and elegant. The bathroom had a big terrycloth robe and slippers, and plenty of Bulgari toiletries. Lots of thick towels, too. There was also a very nice umbrella in my closet. It came in very handy since it rained both days of my stay there. They also shined my shoes the first night, complementary. I ate only breakfast there. It was crepes, ham, juice and coffee. It was good. Again, service was exceptional. I would highly recommend George V. There is a spa there, but I didn't use it. The concierge arranged for me to take a city tour. I don't know about a lot of the activities at the hotel itself, though. I would say on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being excellent, "
Candace V., Delhi, NY. September, 2006
"Fabulous hotel--beautiful, luxurious suite (ours had a view of the Eiffel Tower), exceptional, friendly service, (everyone greeted us, coming in the entrance, in the elevator, in the halls--impressive), an exceptional experience all the way!"
Kathy B., Dayton, OH. September, 2006
"The gracious service was truly amazing from the minute we stepped out of the car at the front door, to the check-in with the multilingual staff, to the beautiful rooms and incredible attention to detail. The concierge was excellent, always willing to help with anything we needed, and they made wonderful suggestions. Every staff member there seems eager to please and very genuine about it! The exercise room is especially nice, with personal headsets for tv on each piece of equipment, cold bottled water, nice selection of free weights and accesory equipment. There is also a full service spa for adults and an indoor pool (which was mostly enjoyed by children.) We had a lovely room with a view of the Eiffel Tower that lit up at night, and the maid service would be impossible to top elsewhere. They folded everything and had all of the room like new by the time we came back at the end of the day, better than anywhere else we have stayed. Dinner at the Cinq restaurant was okay but we expected better service."
Maher B., Houston, TX. September, 2006
"This was my third stay at the Four Seasons George 5 Hotel. As you enter the hotel, the first thing that strikes you is the beautiful floral arrangements all over the lobby; it is an exceptional experience on its own. The rooms are classy and very comfortable and you really get a good night's sleep. If you stay there the spa and the restaurant are a must."
